Return Policy

Digital Products

Fulfillment of individual direct/student sales and returns are managed through our preferred partner company, Ublish, LLC.

Customers will receive a full refund on their purchase of Digital Products if the return request is received within 14 days of purchase. This includes digital products which are purchased as an access code, online courses, eBook or other digital product subscriptions. Refunds of digital products are limited to one time per course, per term. To obtain a refund, the customer will be required to fill out a support ticket and supply their order information to Customer Support on the Support Helpdesk.

Physical Products / Printed Books

Fullfillment of individual direct/student sales and returns are managed through our preferred partner company, ublish, LLC. Individual direct/student sales that are purchased through the myBusinessCourse site will receive a full refund on the purchase price and any applicable taxes that were charged. Ublish, LLC does not charge a restocking or return fee. Ublish, LLC does not refund shipping costs.

To obtain a refund, the customer will be required to fill out a support ticket and supply their order information to Customer Support on the Support Helpdesk and request a Return Tracking Number.

Individual direct/student sales of physical products/printed book returns MUST satisfy ALL of the following conditions:

  • Returns received without a Return Tracking Number will not be accepted.
  • Product must be purchased directly from Cambridge Business Publishers only.
  • Returns must be in saleable condition, in their unbroken, original shrink-wrap unless there is a manufacturer material defect.
  • Products that have been opened, used, or altered will not be accepted for return or exchange. Open or re-wrapped books will not be accepted.
  • Return requests must be sent within 21 days of the original purchase date.
  • Returns must be received with 7 days of receiving a Return Tracking Number.

ALL RETURNS must satisfy the following:

  • Returns should be shipped prepaid by traceable means. We are not responsible for lost books.
  • Returns must reference the original invoice number(s).
  • Defective product must have prior authorization and must follow the returns instructions given.

We WILL NOT accept, and will return at customer’s expense:

  • Damaged or defective products received without prior authorization (including those damaged in transit)
  • Products received that had been given as complimentary copies to professors or aides
  • Open or unsealed books. Re-wrapped books will NOT be accepted.
  • Used books
  • Unauthorized returns
  • Anything received that does not follow the outlined policy.

Physical Products

Permission is NOT required for returns that satisfy ALL of the following conditions:

  • Books were directly purchased from Cambridge Business Publishers.
  • Books are in saleable condition.
  • Books, as well as bundles, are in their original, unbroken shrink-wrap.
  • Books are received within 6 months of the invoice date.
  • Books must be shipped prepaid by traceable means.
  • Books are accompanied by a packing slip that indicates the title and quantity being returned.
  • Books are packed in boxes that weigh less than, or equal to, 50 lbs.
  • Books are packed in boxes that pass 200 lbs. test for small boxes or 257 lbs. test for large boxes.
  • Product is packed with sufficient and appropriate packing material. DO NOT use packing peanuts.

The following policies will ALSO apply (if applicable):

  • Custom-published titles carry a return limit of 10% of the quantity ordered.
  • Prior authorization is required for defective product returns and exchanges.
  • Damaged products that are received by the customer may be returned, or replaced, ONLY if authorization is requested within 5 business days of shipment delivery.
  • Returns delivered to an incorrect address will be charged a 25% restocking fee.

We WILL NOT accept, and will return to the customer, at the customer's expense, the following:

  • Open, unsealed, re-wrapped, or used books.
  • Damaged books returned without prior authorization (including those damaged in transit).
  • Books given as complimentary copies to professors.
  • Unauthorized returns received beyond 6 months of invoice date.
  • Anything received that does not follow the outlined policy.
